Chromeplat Industrial Corporation (PTY) Ltd was established in 1999 under the direction of Martin Jansen van  Rensburg.

Our vision is to be the largest Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Company within the Mining Industry who can offer you, our customer, the “peace of mind” in using our products and facilities. In which offering sales, service and repairs of various submersible pump ranges, repairs of various vertical spindle and end suction pumps, sales, and repair of electrical/vibrator motors, including fans and bearing assemblies.
We have a diverse client base that is seen as strategic business partners rather than customers. We are primarily focused on the mining, construction, agriculture, and municipal industries. Taking the above industries into consideration, it was therefore determined that a “Heavy Duty Submersible and Vertical Spindle pump” was and still is in great demand.

Martin Jansen van Rensburg undertook the opportunity to design and manufacture locally Chromeplat’s own submersible and vertical spindle pump range, which is unique in specification, usage, and efficiency.
All pump components regarding spares for the submersible and vertical spindle pumps are manufactured locally. This will allow us to assist our customers in suppressing their monthly expenditure, or at least in expanding their current budget limitations.
We aim to service your company as an individual entity of our own in terms of sales, delivery, and service.
